Job Description:
The role is responsible for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing improvements utilizing standard OE tools and processes. The candidate will be responsible for researching best practices within and outside the organization, developing policies, methods, procedures, and forms to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Business Process Manager will report to the Director of Operational Excellence and Business Process Management, supporting the implementation of improvements across the organization.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Strategy and Project Definition/Planning:
- Develop short and long-term OE strategies and roadmaps aligned with the overall organizational strategy.
- Ensure effective Idea Management processes are in place.
- Collaborate to ensure alignment with corporate expectations on continuous improvement targets.
- Project Implementation:
- Execute the business process management function for process management capability.
- Align OE programs with the director to deliver significant value.
- Identify gaps and mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities.
- Operational Excellence:
- Champion change for continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
- Utilize advanced CI tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Communication:
- Develop communication plans to promote operational excellence.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across functions and train teams on OE tools.
- Building OE/CI Skills:
- Promote continuous learning for OE methodologies and tools.
- Coach and train teams in OE/CI tools and problem-solving.
- Governance:
- Develop and promote OE/CI approach and toolbox using multiple methodologies (e.g., Shingo, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Define global standards for multi-functional process governance.
- Financial:
- Support the financial evaluation of improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and stakeholders to assess the value of OE initiatives.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or relevant technical discipline (or equivalent experience: 5-10 years).
- Experience: At least 5 years in process management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Ideally in a quantitative field.
- Certifications: Accredited LSS Black Belt, Lean Sensei, or Master Black Belt certification.
